I’m a therapist who cares deeply about walking alongside people as they make sense of their lives and relationships. I hold a Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy and have experience providing individual counseling, working with adolescents and families, and serving in community based mental health, crisis response, outreach, residential care, and parenting support. I believe people deserve a space where they can show up honestly and feel respected and supported.
Healing happens in relationship. Our histories, attachment patterns, and nervous systems influence how we move through the world and connect with others. Identity development and authentic self expression are especially important to me, as is helping clients build resilience during seasons of change and stress. I particularly enjoy working with young adults navigating identity and relationship development, including cisgender men in their late twenties who are often exploring emotional expression and connection in new ways. In therapy, we will explore patterns that may be keeping you stuck, strengthen emotional regulation and communication, and take practical steps toward the kind of life and relationships you want.
My work is collaborative, grounded, and compassionate. I integrate attachment based therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy, DBT informed skills, and solution focused approaches. This means we will deepen emotional understanding while also build practical tools you can use outside of session.
I also show up fully as myself in session. I can be a little quirky, honest, and at times even entertaining, while still holding the depth and seriousness your story deserves. I’m a therapist who is deeply passionate about helping people build healthier, happier lives. I’ve worked in the mental health field since 2021, I have a Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, and I am a National Board Certified Counselor. I’m also a certified trauma-informed yoga instructor. My philosophy is simple; the brain and the body do not work independently from each other. When we struggle with our health in one area, it commonly affects the other. Which is why I approach mental health from a whole-person perspective. In our work together, we’ll utilize evidence-based theories and tools to help you achieve your specific mental health goals and release the physical symptoms of trauma and stress you might be carrying.
My approach to therapy is unique, just like your goals. I primarily use Compassion Focused Therapy combined with Feminist Theory through a neurobiological lens. Which is a technical way of saying I help my clients build a more compassionate relationship with themselves and others, while taking into consideration both the neuro-chemical and societal influences that impact us deeply.

Before becoming a counselor, I spent many years as a teacher working with adolescents and families. That experience continues to shape how I show up in therapy—with patience, steadiness, and a deep respect for how hard people are trying, even when they feel like they’re failing. I understand how stress, grief, and family dynamics affect both adults and teens because I’ve worked alongside them in classrooms, homes, and now in the therapy room.
Lived experience: I am a parent of a gender-expansive child, a bereaved parent, and someone who lives with a neurological condition. I am familiar with non-monogamous and alternative relationship structures and the challenges of living outside traditional norms.

We all face challenges at times. The key to facing these challenges might be the confidence that you will get to the other side. Often, what holds us back is feeling stuck to a thought or an emotion, feeling like a challenge is impossible to traverse, or never-ending. When this happens, emotions or thoughts can become all-consuming, and our values, what gives us meaning and brings us hope, are overshadowed. Facing these struggles can be hard, but no path is completely free from challenges. Through non-judgmental awareness and acceptance, rediscovering what is important, self-compassion, and curiosity, negative thoughts and challenging emotions become less of a driving force in our lives, leaving room to follow our chosen path despite the challenges that arise.
Lived experience: I have lived through and grown from traumatic loss, childhood neglect, poverty, social anxiety, and walking to the beat of my own drum. I have experience loving someone with serious mental health challenges. I am a mother to four-legged and winged children. Spirituality for me lives in nature; it never fails to offer me a sense of awe.
Modalities: I work primarily from a humanistic point of view. I strongly believe in authenticity, curiosity, humility, and, sometimes, humor in the therapeutic process. I believe in walking with a client; I am not controlling or directive; when in session, this is your space. I focus heavily on values; what gives one meaning, purpose, and hope.
